Marijuana Investing is Ethical Investing

The #1 Reason to Invest in Marijuana Stocks

After my grandfather died, my grandmother’s life was filled with anxiety and stress.

In fact, when he died, the woman I had known as Grandma died, too.

Not literally, of course, but spiritually and emotionally.

She was so overcome with anxiety that her health rapidly deteriorated.

Make no mistake; few things will wreak havoc on your immune system like stress and anxiety.

Over time, she did concede to getting on anti-anxiety meds, and she regularly saw a psychologist. It helped, but the meds did come with a few side effects that also likely affected her health in a negative way.

Jamaican Growth Forum: Ganja is no silver bullet

Ras Iyah V, president of the Westmoreland Ganja Farmers' Association, says while a well-structured marijuana industry could be a major economic boost to a town like Savanna-la-Mar, ganja alone cannot turn around the fortunes of the town.

"No single industry can solve the problems we have in Savanna-la-Mar, but with an overall agricultural programme, herb is the easiest thing that our people can go into at the moment because we have everything to make this work," the Rastafarian elder said at The Gleaner's Job Creation, Investment and Growth Forum in the Westmoreland capital last week.

Unfilled state regulatory jobs could delay medical marijuana openings in Las Vegas

Dozens of medical marijuana businesses in Las Vegas could face delays in their opening dates. The state isn’t rethinking the law that legalized the growth and sale of cannabis for patients’ use. Rather, it’s having trouble filling bureaucratic posts responsible for signing off on the dispensaries' compliance with that law.

After two recent employee departures, there are currently no inspectors based in Southern Nevada. In the meantime, one based in Northern Nevada has been traveling south when needed. The state is currently working to fill those vacancies.

Members of the medical marijuana industry are raising concerns about the turnover.

Did You Violate Federal & State Law When You Raised Capital?

No your not a white collar criminal, but what many founders do not know is that they may have violated federal and state securities laws through their efforts to raise capital.

Most founders obtain initial financing for their startups by tapping their savings, incurring debt, asking their friends and family for money and approaching professional investors.

Here’s the issue: Every offering of securities has to be either (1) registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission or (2) qualify under one of the applicable exemptions from registration.
