Recreational marijuana has been legal to use in Nevada for four months now, but there's still nowhere for adults to legally buy pot.

Nevada's first recreational marijuana dispensaries are expected to open on July 1, but questions remain about what regulations those business will be subject to. Lawmakers met with Director of the Nevada Department of Taxation Deonne Contine on Wednesday night to gain some clarity.

She said, "The department has drafted proposed temporary regulations to allow for Early Start."

The Early Start program will allow current medical marijuana businesses to be the first to participate in the recreational pot industry.

The Canopy Growth Corporation bought Saskatchewan-based rTrees Products on Tuesday.

The Sask. company is a late-stage applicant to the federal government's medical marijuana system.

Though they are not yet licensed, the company has already posted ads for four positions in Yorkton, Sask.

If the company is licensed, it will operate out of a 90,000 square foot facility in Yorkton under the name Tweed Grasslands. 

The company said it eventually plans to hire 40 or 50 employees, if they are approved.

The company said it hopes attain a licence "within months."

The global medicinal cannabis market is rapidly growing.

Lifespot Health (ASX:LSH) and Seng Vital Germany will form a 50:50 joint venture in Australia to integrate the Seng Vital Cannamed vaporizer into Lifespot’s BodyTel platform.

The Cannamed vaporizer is used for the controlled delivery of cannabis to users.

Lifespot will use its BodyTel medical diagnostic and monitoring technology to assist in the administration and monitoring of cannabis use.
