Marijuana growers are often looking for ways to produce better yields and crops.

Because marijuana grows in the shape of a Christmas tree, it means that more light will reach one part f the plant than other areas.  There are methods of marijuana training that can change this Christmas tree shape and grow more buds for you.

Here is a quick look at some of the ways to do marijuana training for increased yields and better buds.

Super Cropping

This is a name given to a group of methods performed by experienced growers during the vegetative growth period to increase and or improve the overall crop yields. Super Cropping usually begins during the second or third week of vegetative growth and can continue throughout the vegetative growth period.

Hemp oil, used to treat neurological disorders, comes from the cannabis plant. But don't call it medical marijuana.

"People associate medical and recreational marijuana with THC, with a street drug, and with getting high," Paige Figi says on a recent phone call. "This has none of those things."

"There is an urgency to this because individuals are dying."

A potential Florida medical marijuana grower is getting every opportunity to make its case in court.

Baywood Nurseries of Apopka insists the proposed rule to enact the 2014 Charlotte’s Web law by the Florida Department of Health is unfair to smaller nurseries, blocking them from applying for one of the five licenses available to grow marijuana.

The DOH response: Baywood has no case.

“We shouldn’t be here for a hearing and another delay,” protested DOH lawyerEduardo Lombard.

A majority of states now allow residents to use compounds from low-THC cannabis as medicine, but growing the plants remains a federal crime and in some states parents of epileptic children risk losing them by using the non-intoxicating treatment.

Efforts to help Indiana gain federal approval to grow and sell industrial hemp have died this legislative session, the bill's author said Wednesday.

"There's some disagreement about just how close it is to marijuana," said Rep. Don Lehe, R-Brookston. "We just need more clarification about the differences."

While the measure — which would have excluded industrial hemp from the definition of marijuana — drew no opposition in the House, it lost momentum in the Senate. Opponents expressed concerns about relaxing Indiana's marijuana laws — even though industrial hemp differs from medical or recreational marijuana plants in THC content and appearance.
