5 Cannabis Experts Weigh In On Why The Future Of Edibles Is Fast-Acting

cannabis gummies

The cannabis industry term “rapid delivery” first appeared in 2017 with the launch of a proprietary portfolio of THC-infused, effects-based chocolates made by the brand 1906.

But two years later, the category matured when Wana – the number one cannabis edibles company in North America – teamed up with Azuca and officially renamed it as “fast-acting." They incorporated Azuca founder and chief creative officer Ron Silver’s quick onset technology, known as “Time Infusion,” into an expansion of its best-selling line of all-natural, sugar-coated gummies with Wana Quick.

Since then, both Wana Brands and Azuca have led the charge in providing cannabis consumers a quicker-hitting and more consistent high than that of traditional edible products.

Celebrities are getting into cannabis every week, but do their products even sell better than regular brands?

Thousands, if not millions, of individuals, reevaluate their stance on cannabis use each time a popular celebrity comes out in support of the drug. Dozens of these icons globally are influencing millions of their fans to give cannabis a try, just because they love it.

Celebrities have changed the game for good, as their impact on public opinions, foreign policies, health-related issues, and consumption habits has in many ways played a major role in the wide acceptance of marijuana laws across the United States.

Australian 2021 Cannabis Industry Awards Winners Announced

cannabis awards

The efforts of Australian (and New Zealand) cannabis pioneers and professionals have been recognised in the 2021 Cannabis Industry Awards.

“As cannabis fights for legitimacy and normalisation, we come together to celebrate this amazing plant, its incredible supporters, and the fastest growing industry in Australia,” states the Awards web site.

Founded in 2018, the Awards are divided into two sections – community and business, with multiple categories in each. The initiative involves an independent judging panel, the members of which are from diverse areas of the industry. Winners are generally selected by merit rather than popularity – this means small players get a better crack at getting a gong. But there are also some public vote award categories.

Is Cannabis A Study Aid? Here’s What You Should Know

studying

Now that colleges and universities are back in session all over the country, it’s natural for the topic of marijuana and its effects on studying to enter the conversation.

Cannabis is the average co-ed’s drug of choice. While a lot of people encounter cannabis when they’re younger, it’s not until college that their stoner persona solidifies. New college students are entering a stage where they’re able to smoke to their heart’s content without worrying about their parents or the smell of their rooms. It’s natural for them to want to smoke all the time. But does it help them study?

Pot Sales Drift Higher At Nova Scotia Liquor Stores

liquor store

Halifax,N.S.—Nova Scotians continue to buy more pot from liquor stores, as the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation expands its cannabis network.

The NSLC says cannabis sales were up by more than 20 percent last quarter, compared to the previous year. In total, the crown corporation sold $26.6-million worth of cannabis between July 5 and October 3.

Of that, $5.5-million was pot produced in Nova Scotia.

That’s a jump in local cannabis sales of more than 31 percent compared to the same period last year. That makes local cannabis the fastest-growing product category at the NSLC.

NSLC President and CEO Greg Hughes says increasing pot sales are due in part to the falling cost of cannabis at the company’s stores.
