The Department of Consumer Protection will begin accepting research proposals Oct. 1. The move is part of a number of changes to the medical marijuana law, including a provision to allow patients under 18 to use the drug.

Watch The Amazing Effect Marijuana Has On This British Man’s Parkinson’s Tremors

A Parkinson’s patient has provided indisputable proof of marijuana’s ability to alleviate the degenerative disease.

Ian Frizell of the UK has spent the past 20 years dealing with a severe case of Parkinson’s disease that causes nearly his entire body to shake uncontrollably.

In a video posted earlier this month, Frizell explains that traditional Parkinson’s medications make him feel “extremely unwell.”

He steps away to consume just 30mg of marijuana via a vaporizer and returns about twenty minutes later.

“The sense of relief is overwhelming,” Frizell says as he sits still, completely free of the tremors.

Full page of mailer takes aim at attorney John Morgan.

The campaign to defeat Amendment 2, the medical marijuana question on November’s ballot, is heating up.

The “No on 2” campaign is telling the same story it told two years ago, when the amendment lost by a bare margin.

And now, thousands of slick brochures are showing up in mailboxes across Florida, telling horror stories about medical marijuana. Last time, the initiative lost by fewer than three points.

For the First Time Ever, Cannabis Oil Will Be Used in a Hospital

In December, Nicole and Ernie Nunez brought their beautiful baby girl, Amylea, into the world. However, when they brought her home, things quickly took a turn for the worst.

“About a day after we went home from delivery is when she had her first seizure,” Nicole said. “She has a rare form of epilepsy. They don’t know exactly the type.”

For the past two months, the Nunez family has been desperately trying to treat their daughter’s condition. Doctors in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where the family is from, were unable to find a cause and unable to treat young Amylea. So, the family has fled to Colorado.

Nicole stays at the hospital in Aurora while Ernie drives back and forth to take care of the couple’s other children and to work.

UK: Should legalising weed really be high on our MPs' list of priorities?

It was a sunny summer's day at Slane Castle, Co Meath, the annual rock gig, with Freddie Mercury and Queen belting out their greatest hits. Tens of thousands of fans were in front of the stage, whereas I had the pleasure of a personal invitation from Henry Lord Mountcharles and the late promoter Jim Aiken and was with dozens of A-listers in the private grounds of the castle with access to indoors, where we partook of Champagne and strawberries and cream.
