Terra Tech Corp (OTCMKTS:TRTC) told investors it is set to open a cannabis dispensary in Las Vegas, which will be the first of eight new operations certified by Nevada.

The California headquartered group, which describes itself as a vertically integrated cannabis-focused agriculture company, said the first dispensary would be located adjacent to the famous Las Vegas strip and would open in the first quarter of next year.

DENVER-- Seven marijuana stores in Denver made sales to people who were under the legal purchasing age of 21, Denver Police said Wednesday.

With 30 stores investigated in the operation, the number amounts to nearly one in four selling to underage people.

Since legal sales of recreational pot began in 2014, sting operations rarely resulted in underage sales. The first round of stings last year resulted in zero violations.

"We are disappointed," said Lewis Koski of the Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division in a statement. "Up until now these compliance checks have been a bright spot for the industry."

The long-awaited pot legalization initiative from the Coalition for Cannabis Policy Reform, also known as ReformCA , is about to be filed with state officials. Backers of the initiative told the LA Weekly Tuesday that language for circulation will be filed with the attorney general's office in a matter of "days."
