The THC Test Lab in the Palm of Your Hand

Making your own infused oils and tinctures for use in edibles can be a tricky business. The potency of the herb you’re using can vary, and different oils will extract cannabinoids at different rates. Not knowing the strength of your recipe makes proper dosing of the final product a difficult endeavor.

Taking away that mystery was the goal of the founders of Engineered Medical Technologies, a small tech company in Northern California.

New technology aims to test for recent marijuana use

Like the familiar breathalyzer used to test whether a driver is behind the wheel while impaired by alcohol, a similar hand-held device that tests for recent marijuana use is already being tested in Canada and the United States, including a small device being tested in California that uses a small sample of saliva to test for six drugs within minutes.

Why Genetically Modified Cannabis Probably Won't Be A Thing

Sadly, we probably won't see 100 percent THC nugs the size of watermelons anytime soon.

The future of the legal marijuana industry in the United States is as indeterminable as today’s weed is intoxicatingly potent.  With legal marijuana laws springing up in states across the country, speculation of an eventual corporate presence in the cannabis industry is taking hold. And some think that when Big Agriculture enters the picture, with it will come strains of genetically modified marijuana.

How Marketing Automation Helps Cannabis Companies Reach New Customers

For B2B companies in the cannabis industry, the importance of educating prospects and sharing informative content cannot be understated. But perhaps even more importantly, it’s important that people actually see and interact with that content.

It’s a tale as old as time: a newly-digital brand starts creating content, but never finds an audience to share that content with.

One retweet from a spam account later, and that thoughtfully prepared blog has hardly reached a single soul. You put it on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and even on Pinterest, but no one clicked! There’s got to be a better way!
