NBC “Late Night” host Seth Meyers perfectly summed up on Monday night how many in America are feeling about Donald Trump right now.
Between the Republican presidential nominee’s bragging about sexually assaulting women and his inflammatory responses during Sunday night’s debate, Meyers did not hold back in his take-down of the events of the past 72 hours.
“So a man who is this close to the highest office in the land now occupies the lowest office in the land: the pervert on the bus,” he said.
During Sunday night’s debate, Trump had dismissed his boasts about groping women as “locker room talk.” This moved Meyers to point out the obvious. “That is not the way men in locker rooms talk,” the host said.
