CMCIA Appoints New Executive Director - Colette Rivet to Lead Medical Cannabis Industry Association

OTTAWA, Jan. 13, 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - The Board of Directors of the Canadian Medical Cannabis Industry Association (CMCIA) has announced the appointment of Colette Rivet as the new Executive Director of the Association.

Ms. Rivet is an experienced association leader with a deep background in health matters, having served previously as Executive Director of Resident Doctors of Canada and BioTalent Canada, in addition to senior roles with the Canadian Centre on Substance Abuse (CCSA), the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, and the Canadian Blood Agency. Fluently bilingual, Ms. Rivet has a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Ottawa, and has obtained a Certified Health Executive certification from the Canadian College of Health Service Executives.
