We asked three who’ve gone from Wall Street to the C-suites of the cannabis industry to tell us what they found. Derek Peterson, CEO/Founder of Terra Tech, the first publicly traded cannabis company in the U.S. worked as a Vice President with Morgan Stanley. Victoria Rudman, CFO for Kalytera, a company developing synthetic CBD compounds was Vice President with Bear Stearns. Steve Berg, CFO for OpenVAPE, a vaporizer company with products in over 1,000 locations across 10 states, is a former Managing Director at Wells Fargo Bank’s capital markets group. Remarks are edited from a longer interview.
