Scientists in Israel continue to establish their work as the leading source of information on medical marijuana. In a combined research study conducted primarily by scientists from Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Tel Aviv University, Cannabidiol (CBD) was discovered to enhance fracture healing and promote Lysyl Hydroxylase (an extremely plentiful enzyme associated with bone healing) activity in osteoblasts (bone structure cells).

From a biological viewpoint, the conclusion is rather substantial because the research was performed in a controlled environment under the guidance of 18 researchers from 3 various nations. Members of the Institute for Biomechanics from Zurich and Sweden’s Lund University Department of Biomedical Engineering and Department of Orthopedics collaborated with the Israeli group to map the biochemical interaction and impacts of cannabis ligands (CBD and THC) on the skeletal system....
