NEWS 5 AT 6:00. COURTIS: GOOD EVENING. I'M COURTIS FULLER. A 3-YEAR-OLD IS RUSHED TO THE HOSPITAL AFTER SHE ATE A MARIJUANA LACED COOKIE. TAMMY MUTASA HAS MORE ON WHAT THE INVESTIGATORS SAY LET UP TO THE INCIDENT. TAMMY: THIS WAS A VERY UNUSUAL SEQUENCE OF EVENTS. A FATHER, WIFE, AND 3-YEAR-OLD EIGHT COOKIES WITH MARIJUANA, BUT HAD NO IDEA. HAMILTON COUNTY SHERIFF DEPUTIES SAY THE FATHER, WIFE AND THEIR 3-YEAR-OLD HAD BEEN AT THE GRANDPARENTS HOUSE TO WATCH FIREWORKS. THE FAMILY FOUND COOKIES IN THE FRIDGE AND 81 EACH. INVESTIGATORS -- ATE ONE EACH. THE FATHER STARTED FEELING FUNNY AND THAT IS WHEN THE FAMILY REALIZED THE COOKIES WERE LACED WITH MARIJUANA AND THE CHILD WAS RUSHED TO THE HOSPITAL.
