Natura Naturals Inc. ("Natura") is pleased to announce that Health Canada has approved "Grow Space 2," a 34,500 square foot flowering room that has an anticipated harvest yield of 4,500 - 5,000 kilograms of medical-grade cannabis per year.

Natura expects to have its first harvest from Grow Space 2 in approximately 70 days, adding to the existing yield of its Leamington-based facility.

President and CEO of Natura, Ben Nikolaevsky, said that the Health Canada approval demonstrates Natura's industry-leading experience, and builds on their production momentum.

"Health Canada's approval of our second flowering room speaks to the quality of our hydroponic operations and builds on our 40-year track record of meeting the highest regulatory requirements. The approval also marks an important growth milestone for Natura and puts us on track to meet our 2019 production goals," Nikolaevsky stated.

With this approval, Natura will move ahead with applications later in August for two more flowering rooms at the facility, which will provide an additional 90,000 square feet of production space. Once completed, this additional capacity is expected to bring total annual medical-grade cannabis production to approximately 15,000 kilograms. When fully built-out in 2019, Natura's 662,000 square foot facility will have annual capacity of approximately 70,000 kilograms.
