Bloomberg Intelligence identified 55 public companies whose business is based largely or completely on legal marijuana, and whose shares traded at $0.10 or more as of April 15th. These wildly fluctuating penny stocks aren’t for the faint of heart.

Edibles out, 'nebulization' in in latest Pennsylvania medical marijuana bill

Pennsylvania's medical marijuana proposal underwent some changes before a state Senate panel voted this week to support the measure.

The Senate State Government Committee on Tuesday voted 10-0, with one member not voting, in support of Senate Bill 3.

The measure now heads to the Senate Appropriations Committee for review before a vote by the full Senate. Senators last year approved a medical marijuana bill, but the 2013-14 session expired before a House vote.

How To Brand, Market, And Sell Marijuana Without Breaking The Law

Earlier this year, Dixie Elixirs & Edibles, perhaps Colorado’s best-known cannabis brand, took its THC-infused drinks off the market. It had no choice.

That's because a couple of weeks later, on February 1, new packaging regulations for recreational marijuana edibles went into effect in the state and the screw top aluminum bottles were no longer compliant.

House Bill Would Force Feds To Respect State Marijuana Laws

A bipartisan group of lawmakers has come together to back a bill that would prevent the federal government from prosecuting individuals and businesses for drug crimes when they are in compliance with their states' marijuana laws.

On Wednesday, Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-Calif.) introduced the Respect State Marijuana Laws Act of 2015 (H.R. 1940), a measure that would require the federal government to respect states that have ended prohibitions on the plant. Rohrabacher, who introduced the same bill in 2013, was joined by five members of his own party and six Democrats.

Marijuana Training Techniques

Marijuana growers are often looking for ways to produce better yields and crops.

Because marijuana grows in the shape of a Christmas tree, it means that more light will reach one part f the plant than other areas.  There are methods of marijuana training that can change this Christmas tree shape and grow more buds for you.

Here is a quick look at some of the ways to do marijuana training for increased yields and better buds.

Super Cropping

This is a name given to a group of methods performed by experienced growers during the vegetative growth period to increase and or improve the overall crop yields. Super Cropping usually begins during the second or third week of vegetative growth and can continue throughout the vegetative growth period.

Vancouver to become first Canadian city to regulate marijuana shops

Vancouver is about to become the first city in Canada where the business of selling marijuana will be regulated and permitted.

Although the drug is illegal in Canada and technically only available to people by a mail order, prescription system set up by the federal government, the city will permit the operation of dispensaries under a proposed framework that selects which businesses can open and imposes rigid operating conditions.

The proposed regulatory framework, which will take months to implement and still needs council approval, reflects a permissive view by the Vision Vancouver majority that supports access to marijuana for medicinal purposes.

The Case for Legalizing Medical Cannabis for Kids

Hemp oil, used to treat neurological disorders, comes from the cannabis plant. But don't call it medical marijuana.

"People associate medical and recreational marijuana with THC, with a street drug, and with getting high," Paige Figi says on a recent phone call. "This has none of those things."

"There is an urgency to this because individuals are dying."

Charlotte’s Web hearing to enter second day, glitch bill still on Senate calendar

A potential Florida medical marijuana grower is getting every opportunity to make its case in court.

Baywood Nurseries of Apopka insists the proposed rule to enact the 2014 Charlotte’s Web law by the Florida Department of Health is unfair to smaller nurseries, blocking them from applying for one of the five licenses available to grow marijuana.

The DOH response: Baywood has no case.

“We shouldn’t be here for a hearing and another delay,” protested DOH lawyerEduardo Lombard.
