The Capturing Eden Corporation, a unique line of stores offering medical cannabis assessments to underserviced areas in Ontario, is pleased to announce the opening of a new location in Owen Sound at 973 2nd Avenue West.

Stephen Barber, CEO of Capturing Eden Corp., said, “We decided to come to Owen Sound, as it is a greatly underserviced area that could be enhanced with proper medical cannabis assessments, as well as giving the opportunity for members of the community to purchase various hemp products.”

With a registered nurse, physician and pharmacist on-staff to provide professional medical assessments for cannabis use, Stephen and his team hope to provide a safe, caring and professional environment to offer affected community members a wide range of medical alternatives for everything from pain relief to mental health solutions.

According to Stephen Barber, “In the Grey-Bruce area, there is a huge need for medical alternatives. Having a central location to serve people that could be helped with these types of addictions or issues, means they don’t have to wait long times or travel to larger centres like K-W or Toronto for proper assessments. We want to work well with the community and its corporate partners to help provide relief for a number of afflictions, and we’re excited to be a part of Grey-Bruce for years to come.”

Along with the medical assessment side of the business, Eden West Fog will also open as the “back store” of Capturing Eden, offering a wide range of vape, cannabis and hemp accessories, but does not carry any marijuana or THC products.

Capturing Eden and Eden West Fog officially open their doors on Friday, June 28 at 973, 2nd Avenue West, just down the street from the Owen Sound Police Service Building. Store hours are Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
