Outspoken celebrity activist Woody Harrelson is putting his money where his marijuana is. On Feb 5, 2016, the Hawaii Department of Health posted its list of 66 applicants hoping to open the Aloha State's first dispensaries - including the "Cheers" and "True Detective" star.

Hawaii legalized medical marijuana in 2000, allowing patients to grow their own medicine. In July 2015, the state expanded its program to allow storefront dispensaries to operate. Harrelson appeared on the list of applications under his company name, Simple Organic Living.
