California ranks third of next 11 states to legalize marijuana

USA Today partners 24/7 Wall Street are bullish on marijuana legalization in America.

Today, the outlets announced the next 11 states to legalize marijuana, based on public opinion polling, existing decriminalization, marijuana arrests, and marijuana use.

Massachusetts tops the list, with widespread marijuana decriminalization and voter support for adult-use regulations. Marijuana Policy Project has filed a ballot initiative in Boston to legalize cannabis in 2016, and MPP’s state campaign director is Will Luzier, a former assistant attorney general and addiction services director. “Marijuana is significantly less harmful than alcohol, and our laws should reflect that,” he states.
