DigiPath Labs Completes Validation of Romer Labs Food-Borne Pathogen and Mycotoxin Testing

LAS VEGAS -- DigiPath Labs, the cannabis testing subsidiary of DigiPath, Inc. (OTCQB: DIGP), in cooperation with True North Laboratory, has completed validation of four Romer Labs food safety testing solutions for cannabis. DigiPath Labs intends to use Romer Labs' rapid diagnostic test kits to screen for food-borne pathogens and quantify mycotoxins present in cannabis.

"This joint effort between independent cannabis testing labs in two states and Romer Labs comprised the first validation of kit-based assays for food-borne pathogen and mycotoxin quality assurance testing on cannabis," says Dr. Cindy Orser, DigiPath Labs' Chief Science Officer. "Romer Labs has earned itself a stellar reputation in the food industry—it is the trusted brand for food safety testing, accepted by the food-production industry and familiar to the FDA."
