Veterans should not suffer because of their zip code

Our military members have served this nation with valor, and many have returned with severe injuries and suffering from PTSD related to their war related service. The use of a medical cannabis therapy program can help reduce the large doses of prescription medications currently being provided to the Veterans via the VA medical system.

Under current VA policy, a veterans will not be sanctioned for cannabis use if they are legally enrolled in a state approved cannabis program... BUT.... for the rest of the Veteran community who live in a state that has not yet developed a compassionate cannabis law they must continue to suffer from the side effects of those prescription medications and face criminal sanctions for their therapeutic use of cannabis...

We as a society are better than this, and it is time to end cannabis prohibition for all...
