Following the incredibly strict Quality Assurance Practices and Good Production Practices of the MMPR can prove to be one of the most challenging aspects of the MMPR for a Licensed Producer, and securing a skilled and trained QA person can be crucial to a successful application and functioning production facility. Even once through the gauntlet of the approval process, constant scheduled and surprise inspections from the regulator, errors in record keeping or best practices can result in fines, recalls, or worse for a producer.

Seeking to address this demand, AAPS, an Ontario-based private Life Sciences and Pharmaceutical training college is offering a series of workshops in February and March geared to training those seeking to work in the medical marijuana industry in Canada.
